About Us
Who We Are
SafeTree are a skilled team of social care workers that specialise in alternative therapy and trauma-informed care.
We create family-focused and goal-oriented experiences to meet the needs of vulnerable young people and promote long-term positive change.
Our Ethos
Every SafeTree programme is unique to each young person and family referred to us.
We create programmes that combine one-to-one interventions, focused on building individual resilience, with family based interventions, focused on building trust, communication and family functioning.
SafeTree Activities
Adventure therapy activities can include problem solving activities and initiatives such as hiking, orienteering, canoeing/kayaking, rock-climbing, challenge courses, and overnight camping.
Specific therapeutic and trauma-informed considerations are made for every activity that we plan for young people and families.
Where We Operate
SafeTree operates throughout Ireland, with bases in Cork, Wicklow, Galway and Donegal
We are a publicly supported organisation, and work closely with statutory and voluntary organisations across Ireland. Our Donegal Office also accepts referrals throughout Ulster & Northern Ireland.
